The Forest Hill Society is looking to support residents on Devonshire Road and other residential streets that are linked to it, to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality and reclaim some of the space for more social activity.
Lewisham Council will be consulting on their "Sustainable Streets" programme in the area in 2024, and the society believes that this detailed traffic survey will help to inform any plans, and ensure that any changes they propose will better benefit residents of the streets, and the Forest Hill area.
The survey involves placing a small device in your window that only needs a nearby plug, and will then count cars, vans, buses, bikes, motorcycles and pedestrians so that we can understand the local traffic patterns and identify any rat-running.
If you live in the area, and would be willing to help with this traffic survey, then please complete the form. If you have any further questions, please email us at email@foresthillsociety.com
