Places for People in Kings Heath and Moseley aims to reduce traffic in residential neighbourhoods to make it safer for people to walk and cycle, and nicer for children to play outside, and neighbours to chat.
Monitoring of phase 2 of the project involves regular professional traffic counts. To supplement this, we are trialling a camera technology which is placed in upstairs windows of properties and provides an ongoing traffic count.
If you live in the area shown below, have an upstairs window overlooking the street and would be interested in being part of the trial, we would like to hear from you; please click on ‘Apply as Candidate’ above.
When you volunteer , Telraam will assess whether your property is likely to be suitable, then will pass location details to Birmingham City Council to decide where to place the 10 cameras available for the pilot. You will be emailed to let you know the outcome of your application.
