Count Docklands is an exciting new citizen science project in the Dublin Docklands area. It uses a small sensor attached to the inside of a window to count the number of cars, trucks, bikes and pedestrians on the street outside. These counts can provide important insights for transport initiatives in Dublin.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to count the traffic on their street – indivdiual homes, schools, public offices and businesses, all are welcome!
All you need is a first floor window with an unobstructed view of the street and an electrical socket near the window.
By participating, you'll contribute valuable data, help shape transport policy, and support a more sustainable, inclusive vision for Dublin’s future. Join us and be part of the change!
